Achevé entre 1679 et 1683, ce bosquet n'abrite aujourd'hui qu'une seule fontaine, "La France triomphante", oeuvre du sculpteur Jean-Baptiste Tuby.
Pourtant à l'époque de Louis XIV, un grand arc de triomphe s'élève et donne son nom à ce salon de verdure.
Les fontaines de la Gloire et de la Victoire qui se tenaient non loin de la première, n'ont pas traversé les époques, probablement fondues au XIX siècle.
Completed between 1679 and 1683, this grove has only one fountain, "la France triomphante", the work of the sculptor Jean-Baptiste Tuby.
However during the reign of Louis XIV, a large triumphal arch was built here and gave its name to this "green salon".
Two fountains not far from the Three Fountains, La Gloire and La Victoire, have not survived and were probably melted down in the 19th century.
